About Mileniux Dynamic & Its Features

Postby J|D » Tue Aug 08, 2006 12:48 am

Short description: A tool for anyone with their own website, this will empower both those who have never made a website in their life and also those who are hardcore web programmers, or even in between. Modify templates to make your own website which come with the script or download from your fellow communities' templates that they made just for you! Make your own program and easily log errors and performance issues. Use MD to create your own website, web forum, blog, photogallery, and more!

--------

Mileniux Dynamic will be a revolutionary Content Management System that takes an approach unlike any other CMSs. Users will be able to install the program and instantly be able to create web blogs (such as those on MySpace), image/video galleries, polls, websites for just about any purpose, and much more, without having to know how to code or create web templates, graphics, or HTML.

Templates will be provided with the software, and additional ones will also be available online. Anyone can create these templates, knowing how to code and to use HTML. You can also easily use a template that you have already made without many adjustments.

To create a website, you would enter MD and enter the web page creation wizard. You would first select the template you would like to use and then enter all the information relevant to the site, for example the site's name. You would then create new pages for the site and populate each page with its content. You can insert data directly, or use a wizard (such as a blog, image or video gallery, etc).

A more advanced approach to create websites would be to make use of Dynamic Objects, which contain Dynamic Functions and Dynamic Conditionals. Dynamic Functions allow you to put together a combination of functions and conditionals together to create virtually any kind of functionality. Dynamic Functions and Conditionals make use of PHP-coded functions written and stored with the Mileniux Dynamic files.

Mileniux Dynamic will come with the following:

Drivers:

- MySQL 4 for PHP4
- MySQL 4 for PHP5
- MySQLi for PHP5
- Files (get directory listings, rename, move, delete, CHMod, and write to files)
- FTP
- POP3 (eMail)
- RSS writer

Interfaces:

- File (can store multiple files inside one .php file)
- Flags (data associated with posts and members, more info below)
- Calendar
- Polls
- Posts
- Robots (to control web crawlers/spiders)
- Users & Groups

With these drivers and interfaces, you can be unstoppable! For example, you can easily create a user, groups, and permissions database in seconds and implement logins to your site instantly, as well as use the permissions associated to ensure the users do exactly what they're supposed to!

Now let's say, for example, you wanted to get an email every time a search engine (spider/web crawler/robot) came to your site. All you'd need to do is go into the Objects section of MD and create a new Dynamic Object which has the Dynamic Conditional having the rationale "Use the interface 'Robots' to see if the current user is a spider. If this condition is true, use the driver 'POP3' to send an email to me and if not, do nothing". This is the same kind of rationale as actually coding, except this doesn't require you to know how to code!!!

As the development of MD progresses, you'll begin to see screenshots of the entire process of doing what was described above. You'll even get to beta test and use it for yourself! More info to come!
